Methodology

We developed two distinct roadmaps: one for the front-end, which is what healthcare professionals interact with, and one for the back-end, used by Biogen employees. For each roadmap, we began by organizing two days of workshops with stakeholders and healthcare professionals. These workshops helped define the scope of the MVP, identify key features, and included "6to1" exercises to design the main screens. By the end of the workshops, we had a clear storymap and user journey. Next, we moved on to creating wireframes for all the screens. Once these wireframes were validated by stakeholders, we shifted focus to the user interface (UI) design. After finalizing the UI, we worked with a Biogen subsidiary to conduct user tests with about eight healthcare professionals, during which we observed their interactions with the platform. Based on their feedback, we made some adjustments before passing the project to the development teams for implementation.

Key figures

Of the 8 people interviewed during the user tests, all of them appreciated the prototype, noting that it was very pleasant and intuitive to navigate. They were all receptive to this new offering.
